The Short North Gala 2013

The annual Short North Gala will be held on Sunday, April 21st at 6pm. The Gala is a highly experiential affair that immerses guests in the flavors and spirit of the Short North Arts District. The evening begins with cocktails, hors’ dourves and entertainment just outside the Hilton Ballroom. Following cocktails, the celebration transitions to the Hilton’s striking (and spacious!) ballroom, where PageTech Ltd. will reshape the space with light, sound, projection and art. The evening shifts to a higher gear as acclaimed Short North chefs take center stage to create a one-night-only culinary masterpiece. Partners will include: basi italia, Bodega, Haiku, the Hilton Columbus Downtown, Hubbard Grille, Jeni’s Ice Creams, L’Antibes, Marcella’s, Martini, Rigsby’s, The Rossi bar + kitchen, Surly Girl Saloon, and Tasi Cafe.

Each year, the Short North Alliance recognizes “Unsung Heroes”, individuals who enrich the Quality of Life in the Short North and Columbus through their volunteer efforts and contributions behind the scenes to advance Art, Community, Diversity and the Short North Spirit. This year the Alliance recognizes these 2013 Unsung Heroes:

Juli Rogers – r design + printing
Linda Schuler – Stonewall Columbus
Richard Gore and Peter Yockel – Short North Stage / The Garden Theatre

All ticket orders will be held at WILL CALL under the name of the person placing the order. No tickets will be sent in advance. Order confirmations will be sent via email. Ticket prices include 1 complimentary glass of wine per person as well as valet parking at the Hilton (main entrance off High Street).
