Harrison West Neighbor Survey Results Are In

A HUGE thanks to all the neighbors that took our survey earlier this year. The purpose of the survey was for the society to gather feedback from our residents that would help us prepare for the years ahead. Questions focused on the things that our neighbors love best about our neighborhood and what they would like to see improve.

The survey remained open nearly two months, and we received over 50 participants, which hit our goal.

Here are a few of the survey highlights:

People love Harrison West! When asked, “What do you like most about Harrison West?,” the two most prominent results were our location and our walkability. Honorable mentions included our top-notch residents, the charm and character of our mixed-use area, our parks and green spaces, our proximity to the bike path and being a quiet and safe place to live.

Most respondents want to see a greater focus on pedestrian safety and sidewalk improvements. When asked, “What changes would most improve Harrison West?,” most people mentioned improvements that would make a safer place to walk. Other big improvement themes included better property maintenance, landscaping and park improvements, increased business presence, further traffic calming measures and better lighting.
