Development Updates – U.S. Trotting Association & Harrison Park Townhomes

Harrison West is getting closer and closer to having two new developments. The development team from Snyder Barker who is redeveloping the U.S Trotting Association site at 750 Michigan Avenue, is close to closing on the property and should begin construction shortly thereafter. The exact timeline is not currently known, but we are hearing “in the near future.”

The final phase of Wagenbrenner’s Harrison West Condominium development will be the Harrison Park Townhomes on the southwest corner of West 2nd Avenue and Harrison Park Place. The Townhomes architectural drawings have been completed and submitted to the city for approval; Wagenbrenner will go before Columbus City Council to discuss variances for the project on Monday, July 21, 2014. The developer plans to begin construction on August 15th, 2014, but a firm date for the ground breaking will depend on the city’s review schedule.
