You’re Invited to the Columbus Day Italian Parade

11822358_784170661695985_4988321644207506452_nYou are invited to the Columbus Day Italian Parade on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 1 p.m. And it’s not just a parade.  It’s a parade with a High School Marching Band Competition!

The parade will feature seven high school bands, classic Italian & American automobiles, and artistically crafted floats as they escort Italian and Columbus officials to the festival, including one of Columbus’ favorite; Columbus-Italian uomo di famiglia Grand Marshal-Ohio House of Representative Michael Stinziano. The invitation to join the parade is open to everyone and there is no entrance fee to friends and family (political organizations excluded). High school bands will be competing for glory and bragging rights as they first perform in marching form a “stopped performance” at High Street between Buttles and Warren, and later at the main tent at the Columbus Italian Festival.

The parade route is as follows: East on Buttles Ave. to High St., North on High St. to Warren Ave., East on Warren Ave to Fourth St.
