West 1st Avenue Closure Starting January 10th

Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, January 10, West First Avenue will be closed to traffic between Perry Street and Ingleside Avenue for sewer work, weather permitting. This closure is expected to remain in place through late January in Harrison West. Residents will need to find alternative routes around the project during this time.

This project is part of many in our area to help separate the combined sewers in the neighborhood and to reduce sanitary sewer overflows into the Olentangy River. You can read more about the entire project in an earlier article.
