Neighbors to Gather for Columbus Marathon in Harrison West

The Columbus Marathon is fast approaching, and this year the race runs right through Harrison West on miles 23 and 24! Marathoners will approach our neighborhood as they head north on Olentangy River Road and east on West 5th Avenue. The route continues south on Perry Street and east on West 3rd Avenue to Neil Avenue and passes by a number of Harrison West homes and businesses. This is a great opportunity to show off our neighborhood and to support the marathoners.

Show your support and join your neighbors at West 3rd and Pennsylvania Avenue. People will begin gathering at 9 a.m. to cheer on the first runners, and neighbors are welcome to stick around throughout the race. Some Harrison West Society members will be present to pass out noisemakers and to provide music. All are welcome to join and cheer on the marathoners as they pass through Harrison West.
