Join the Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed (FLOW) on Saturday August 22nd, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to help clean up the riverfront. After meeting in the Battelle warehouse at 633 West Fifth Avenue, FLOW will provide gloves, litter grabbers, and trash bags. From there the group will head down the Olentangy trail for a view of the 5th Avenue Dam removal progress and the beginning of the cleanup.

Look for the FLOW event signs in the Battelle parking lot.

FLOW is a local non-profit engaging in environmental and social causes since 1997. Their mission is to keep the Olentangy River and its tributaries clean and safe for all to enjoy, through public education, volunteer activities, and coordination with local decision-makers. More details about their organization and ongoing philanthropy can be found on their website.

Please give FLOW a heads up if you know you’ll be attending so they’ll be sure to have enough supplies. Everyone is welcome! Hope to see you there.
