31st Annual Doo Dah Parade
The 31st Annual Doo Dah Parade returns to the Short North this July 4th, 2014. The annual parade of grounded super heroes, political debacles, off the wall mischiefs, homegrown satirists, and other bohemian frolickers winds through the Short North neighborhood. Residents are also invited to march in the parade. Satire the weather, satire yourself, satire a political issue or politician. Whatever you do, do it on July 4th at the Doo Dah Parade!
NBC4’s own Meteorologist Jym Ganahl will serve as “Less-Than-Grand Marshal”.
Legendary Columbus Meteorologist Jym Ganahl will join thousands of irreverent self-styled satirists, partygoers, exhibitionists and overall lost souls in the 31st Annual Doo Dah Parade.
As the 2014 Less-Than-Grand Marshall, Mr. Ganahl will be driven through the parade route in someone else’s dirty car in the midst of a poorly organized “parade” while being exposed to weather no one cannot predict with any accuracy.
Parade organizers invite people who think they’re funny, and those who honestly admit they are not, to join the fun and march in the 2014 Doo Dah Parade. Or for those lacking any creativity, to just sit there and watch everyone else have a good time.
