2014 Columbus Marathon Volunteers Needed in Harrison West

The Columbus Marathon is running through Harrison West! This is a great opportunity to show off our neighborhood and to support the marathon. They are in need of volunteers to serve as course marshals throughout the following segment of the marathon: Third Ave at Olentangy River Road, east on Third to Neil, south on Neil to Buttles, and around Goodale Park. The day will start at 7:30 and go until about 3:00. If you are interested in volunteering please follow the below directions:

1) Go to the race website at http://www.columbusmarathon.com/

2) In the upper left hand corner of the page, you will see an orange box. Click on the link that says volunteer.

3) Click on the orange circle that says volunteer now. Look for the section that says Course Marshals.

4) Once inside the course marshal tab, select Course Marshal “I” Victorian Village.

If you are unable to volunteer, we hope you’ll join us at the Harrison West cheering section! Time and exact location TBD, but start making your signs and gathering your noisemakers so that we can cheer on the runners as a neighborhood!
