Recycling & Yard Waste to be Collected on the Same Day

The city of Columbus has announced that beginning the week of March 3, 2014, yard waste and recycling will now be collected on the same day, every two weeks. Previously, the city collected yard waste during one week and recycling during the following week. The first combined pickup date for Harrison West residents will be March 6, 2014.

The Harrison West recycling and yard-waste pickup day will remain Thursday; the only change is that beginning March 6, 2014 both types of waste will be collected together.
