New “HW” permit area goes into effect Monday, November 4

Permit parking signs have been installed and the new “HW” permit area within Harrison West officially goes into effect on Monday, November 4. Vehicles parked on-street are required to have a valid “HW” parking permit to park in exempt of the three-hour restriction. Any resident within the permit area having issues signing up should contact parkingservices@columbus.gov as soon as possible to avoid any potential parking citations.

Please note that current “C” permit holders should see their existing accounts updated to the new “HW” permit area by October 15. Any resident who hasn’t seen the change to their existing account should also email parkingservices@columbus.gov as soon as possible.

The parking restriction is enforced by vehicles that can read license plates. A note of the time is made for cars without permits; if the car is still there over three hours later, it will be fined. The three hour parking window will be active from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
