Goodale Landing Project Groundbreaking Coming December 4th, 2013

The Westminster-Thurber campus is about to expand. You have most likely noticed the construction trucks and equipment along with more cars parking on the streets in our neighborhood. There is quite a bit of activity on Collins Avenue and at 717 Neil Avenue.

Within the next month, much progress will be made as workers prepare for the ground breaking of Goodale Landing on December 4th. A new employee parking lot will be added on Collins Avenue next to Wheeler Park; the new lot will provide Goodale Landing with 31 more parking slots. Also in November, workers will alter Westminster-Thurber’s existing parking lot and add new carports. Goodale Landing is projected to open in the fall of 2015 and is part of a broader development project with the seven-story Westminster Thurber tower.

The profile of Goodale Landing (34D Goodale Boulevard):

• 68 apartments in seven distinct floor plans ranging in size from 1,140 to 1,890 square feet
• 91.17 percent pre-leased (62 out of 68 apartments are already reserved)
• a projected 30 million dollar construction project
