Screen on the Green 2013 Movie Schedule

The Short North Civic Association kicks off the 5th season of Screen on the Green movies at Goodale Park with Back to the Future on July 12. This will be the first of three outdoor movie nights held on a 30-foot screen at the softball diamond in the park’s southwest corner. All screenings are free and open to the public.

July 12: Back to the Future — 8:30 p.m.
August 9: Mean Girls — 8:00 p.m.
September 13: Despicable Me — 7:00 p.m.

Each movie begins at sundown and will be preceded by costume and trivia contests with prizes from local businesses.

Emcees
July 12: Tim Fulton (with trivia provided by teamtim)
August 9 and September 13: Nina West

Food Trucks
A variety of food trucks and carts will sell refreshments, including Green Meanie Food Truck, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Pattycake Bakery, Short North Bagel Deli, and Swoop! Food Truck.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and flashlights. There are no rain dates.

Screen on the Green is made possible through organization and major funding by the Short North Civic Association, with additional funding by Gateway Film Center, Short North Foundation, and ComFest.
