Harrison West Home Featured on ApartmentTherapy.com

Eric and Mary Martineau purchased their early 1900s-era house in Harrison West in 2006. Formerly a rental, the home had a solid and attractive brick exterior, but the interior required extensive renovation. The couple gutted the house, raised the roof, added dormers, removed a chimney and a few interior walls and then started from scratch with all new wiring, walls, plumbing, woodwork and—oh, just about everything. The work took 18 months, and they were delighted to finally move to the neighborhood in 2008.
