Volunteer Opportunity- August 24, 2024
On Saturday, August 24, from 10:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., the Harrison West Society in conjunction with OSU’s Pay It Forward Community Commitment Day of Service 2024 will work to remove litter and trash from the trail, riverbank and water’s edge along the east side of the Olentangy River between West Fifth and West Third avenues. We have requested between 6 and 20 student volunteers and are seeking additional volunteers from the neighborhood. Please dress appropriately – closed toed shoes, long pants and long sleeves. We will supply gloves, trash grabber tools and trash bags. You’re welcome to bring additional items. Questions can be directed to President@HarrisonWest.org.
