Spring is Around the Corner

By admin
02/13/2026

Get ready for spring by participating in the annual tree and plant sale taking place now at the Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District. The annual sale highlights native trees, shrubs, and plants that combat heat-island effects, attract native pollinators, and many other important ecological services. Proceeds from the sale go toward their Conservation Fund and Mini-Grant Program, which help support the implementation of on-the-ground conservation projects throughout Franklin County. Shop on-line and pick up at their office on April 10-11, 2026.  More information can be found here.
