Coats and Cocktails – November 21

As the cold weather and holiday season approach, join your neighbors for a special evening of connection and community impact.

Harrison Park residents Kathy and Kieran Sherry invite you to Coats & Cocktails, a cozy gathering with a purpose. Stop by the Clubhouse on Friday, November 21, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM to enjoy a cocktail, sample some appetizers, and help bring warmth to those in need by dropping off a new or gently used winter coat!

We’re collecting new or gently used winter coats, along with other cold-weather essentials such as boots, sneakers, blankets, hand-warmers, and more. All items will be donated to Freedom a la Cart, https://freedomalacart.org/, a Columbus-based nonprofit that empowers survivors of sex trafficking through comprehensive support and job training.

Coats will go directly to women in the Freedom program and others still living on the street. Men’s coats are also welcome and will be delivered to a local shelter.

So, as you clean out your closets, please consider setting aside items that could make a difference this winter.
