Harrison West Society Meeting – April 16, 2025

Please join us at 7:00 pm on April 16 for the next Harrison West Society Meeting. The Harrison West Society meets on the third Wednesday of the month and these meetings are open to the public. We will meet in the Skyview Lounge inside Harrison on 5th, 579 West 5th Ave, Columbus, OH 43021.  This new location has parking garage off West 5th Ave with direct access to building. Please check in first at the front desk for directions to the meeting space.  

We will be holding a vote on the new rezoning variances being requested by Thrive in their Rezoning application #Z25-007 and Council Variance application CV24-001 (531 West Fifth Ave). Thrive is proposing to rezone the townhome and flat style buildings in the area to allow apartments into that space.  Please note the application is lengthy because it includes the variances granted for the original development. The new variances requested are for Subareas D, D-1, and D-2, which are found on pages 43-44 of #Z25-007. The result of the vote will be returned to the City of Columbus for its review and discussion.
