Harrison West’s location conveniently puts it within walking distance of many of Columbus’ greatest entertainment venues. (All distances are from the center of Harrison West: West Third Avenue & Michigan avenues.)

Arena District

What: Flanked by Nationwide Arena and Huntington Park, the Arena District has become one of Columbus’ hottest spots for dining and entertainment. The Arena District is home to 14 restaurants and bars, an 11-screen movie theater, a skating rink and a music pavilion.

Goodale Park

What: Named after Dr. Lincoln Goodale, one of Columbus’ most influential residents in the 1800s, Goodale Park is considered the oldest city park in Columbus. Goodale Park is a haven of trees, grass and ponds just a few minutes away from Harrison West. It also features tennis courts, a meeting house and is home to the annual Community Festival, or ComFest.

Huntington Park

What: Home of the Columbus Clippers baseball team, Huntington Park is a state-of-the-art facility with a capacity of 10,100 spectators. The ballpark has numerous patios, bars and bleachers providing fun for the entire family.

Lennox Town Center

What: Lennox Town Center is an entertainment and retail complex conveniently located less than a mile from Harrison West. It features a 24-screen movie theater, numerous restaurants and a variety of shops including Target, World Market, Petco and Barnes & Noble.

Nationwide Arena

What: Nationwide Arena is the home of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets and hosts a wide variety of world-class entertainment events. The venue seats 18,500–20,000 visitors.

The North Market

What: Columbus’ only public market, the North Market is home to dozens of unique, independent merchants and farmers who deliver personal and personable service every day of the week. Stop by on Saturday mornings between May and November to purchase fresh produce and other goods from local farmers.

Short North Arts District

What: A Columbus gem and home to the Gallery Hop! On the first Saturday of every month, thousands of visitors converge on the strip to see new art exhibits and add to their growing collections. With dozens of galleries and non-traditional exhibit spaces, it’s Columbus’ favorite night of the month to celebrate art. The Short North is perfect for dining, walking or shopping.
