West Fifth Avenue Dam in the University District
A low-head dam was erected just north of West Fifth Avenue in 1935. In August 2012, the dam was breached in order to return the Olentangy River to its natural, healthy state. The photos in this album show the dam and the surrounding area both before and after the breach.
