Planning a Victorian Garden: Ideas for Shaping a Historic Landscape

During the Victorian era, gardening became widely popular. Join Columbus Landmarks for a great workshop that will help you understand and plan for a landscape that defines your historic home and gives it that perfect sense of place.

Saturday, June 17, 9 a.m. to noon
Oakland Nursery
1156 Oakland Park Avenue
Columbus, OH 43224

The workshop will be led by Chief Operating Officer and third-generation family member of Oakland Nursery, Genevieve Mills. The class will cover a brief history of Victorian gardens and review landscape design principals that you can apply in your own yard and garden. We will also tour the Oakland Nursery garden center to examine appropriate plant materials. The cost of the class is $15.00. A $5.00 Oakland Nursery gift card is included for all Columbus Landmarks members. Space will be limited to 40 attendees.
