Permit Parking Changes Coming to West Hubbard Avenue

Hubbard Ave Parking SignThe city of Columbus has approved a request by residents on West Hubbard Avenue to implement permit parking on West Hubbard between Dennison Avenue and Park Street. Residents and employees who park on either side of West Hubbard Avenue between Dennison Avenue and Park Street will need permit stickers or visitor hang-tags starting the week of February 18, 2013.

The new parking restriction, street sign shown at left, is: NO PARKING 6PM – 6AM EVERYDAY EXCEPT CITY PERMIT V.

Permit V stickers are issued at the Parking Violations Bureau. Permits are valid on a yearly cycle starting in January, with fees prorated as follows:
January 1 to March 31 – $25 April 1 to June 30 – $20 July 1 to September 30 – $15 October 1 to December 31 – $10

You must apply in person and have the following:

• Current vehicle registration

• Photo identification, one of the following: Driver’s license, state
identification card, passport, military ID or BuckID card

• Residents – Applicants must have a copy of a current utility bill (natural gas, electricity, water), a lease or notarized letter from your landlord to verify residency

• Employees – Applicants must have a notarized letter from their employer

West Hubbard Avenue Parking Restrictions

Columbus police officers will issue tickets and tow vehicles illegally parked. The parking fine is $40 in addition to towing and daily storage fees.
