Earth Day Litter Cleanup

IMG005Earth Day is Friday, April 22, 2016. To celebrate, Earth Day Columbus is encouraging residents to get out and help nurse our sick planet back to health. The Harrison West Society Parks and Green Spaces Committee will once again sponsor an event.

This year, we’re looking for 40 volunteers to pick up litter along the Olentangy Recreation Trail on the west side of the river south of West Third Avenue. We’ll do our work on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 9 until 11 a.m. To sign up, navigate to our Earth Day Columbus worksite page, then click on the box that reads, “Saturday, Apr 16th” near the bottom of the photograph. Directions and parking instructions are noted on the worksite page.

We’ll provide tools, gloves, trash bags, and water. If you any questions, contact the HWS Parks and Green Spaces Committee.

C’mon. It’s Earth Day. Mother Nature has done so much for you. Do a little for her in return!
